“We had the absolute pleasure of working with Kelly for our elopement photos, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience and the results. From the very beginning, Kelly went above and beyond—scouting breathtaking locations and planning every detail to perfection. She captured our day in the heart of Colorado like a true artist.
Beyond her talent behind the lens, Kelly was simply a joy to be around. She was warm, talkative, and made us feel completely at ease throughout the day. Her presence added to the fun and excitement, and we’re so grateful to have shared these moments with someone who genuinely cares about her work—and her clients.
If you’re looking for someone who not only delivers the most incredible photos but also elevates the entire experience, Kelly is it. We will treasure these memories forever, thanks to her.”

If You Believe…
the best memories come from the places you’ve been
the best stories start with “Remember when we…”
and that the best experiences stay with you long after the day ends,
Then you’ll love eloping.
Hi, I’m Kelly. I’m here to help you turn your elopement dreams into something real.
I care deeply about this work because I eloped too. I know how meaningful this experience will be for you, and how important it is to get it right.
That’s why what you get from me goes far beyond just the photos (even though that’s probably how you found me). I help you figure out where to go, how your day can unfold, and how to bring it all together in a way that feels natural and true to you.
And even after doing this for hundreds of couples, I still get excited about every part of it – scouting locations, building timelines, and helping bring each elopement day to life.
I’m your elopement guide, planning partner, and photographer.

You’re Probably In The Right Place If…
You’re looking to elope somewhere you’ll feel at peace, have privacy, and be in total awe of the landscape.
Colorado and Moab are both my home and my escape. Because I know these areas so well, I’m able to recommend hidden gems away from the eyes of tourists that are often unheard of.

You want to work with a photographer who’s here for you, and easy to get a hold of when questions pop up.
I only work with 20 couples a year. This allows me to
1) give my full focus to every one of my couples starting with the planning and all the way through getting your pictures back to you quickly
2) offer the flexibility of blocking off 3 days on my calendar should bad weather or unexpected circumstances pop up, and
3) get back to emails and questions quickly, and step in when my help is needed.
And because of all of that, my couples’ experience is different.
You want to feel prepared without having to think about every little detail.
I bring more than just my camera with me. Over time, I’ve built what I call my “Gear Garage”, a collection of items my couples can borrow from me for their elopement day (and it’s all free!). Need a bluetooth speaker for your first dance? What about a picnic blanket for a picnic with a view? Need backpacks but don’t want to fit them in your checked luggage? I also bring my marry poppin’s bag on every elopement. Bobby pins, bear spray, headlamps, first aid kit, hand warmers, a pen for signing your marriage license. This is all to help make your day unforgettable, make you feel taken care of, and make sure we’re safe in the outdoors.

You are looking for an elopement photographer who gets it.
I eloped in 2016. You don’t have to explain to me what this means to you, or why you’re choosing to get married this way, because I get it. I want you to have exactly what I had, a wedding day that is exciting, stress-free, and wildly memorable in the most beautiful setting imageable.

“Kelly is fantastic! She made the process of planning our elopement to Colorado easy and fun. She’s very professional, available, supportive, and is an incredible artist behind the camera. She was instrumental to our perfect day and I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for an adventurous, organized, and flexible photographer for their big day.”

When there are so many elopement packages to choose from, how do you know which one is actually right for you?
Most couples start by comparing what’s included. And I bet you’re finding that a lot of elopement packages treat your day like a checklist.
Location, check. Vendors, check. Timeline, check.
But the truth is… your elopement deserves more than a checklist of services.

It deserves someone behind it who’s going to show up for you in ways that go far beyond what’s written in a package.

A lot of what I do for my couples isn’t something you’ll find written on paper. It’s real, heartfelt support that shows up in the moments you didn’t plan for.
You’ll probably notice it from our very first call. It won’t feel rushed, or like you’re just another inquiry on my calendar. And then you’ll feel it on your wedding day in all the little moments where I step in without you having to ask.
True stories of how I’ve shown up for my couples:
(and none of this was ever “included” in the package)
Stopped to pick up champagne when they were running late
Carried a picnic blanket on my backpack because I don’t mind the extra weight
Held a phone so family could see their whole outfit
Entertained their dog while changing in the woods
Gave a bride my jacket when she forgot hers
Dropped off a bouquet on my way home from Moab to be pressed
Changed a flat tire on a dirt road in Crested Butte
Picked up and brought a charcuterie board from a local vendor in my town
Held a brides hair back when the elevation sickness became too much

3-Day Buffer Room
I wish more than anything I could control the weather for your elopement, but I can’t *whomp whomp*. I block off a day before, and a day after your planned elopement date in case we need to reschedule due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Access to My Vendor List
You can stop Googling now. After years of planning and photographing elopements, I’ve built an incredible network of trusted vendors who share the same adventurous spirit. Officiant Services (if needed)
I’m an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church, and can sign as your officiant in Moab and in Colorado if you want. (Most Colorado couples self-solemnize, but you’ve got options.)

Guided Photography with Natural Direction
Not only do I guide you through the planning, I’ll guide you through the photos. I create a safe space for my couples so you feel comfortable, and the true emotions and connection shines through your photographs. I’ll give you natural direction when needed, hype you up so you’re having fun, and disappear when the moment needs privacy. My job is to make being present feel easy.
Star Photography
Dreaming of seeing the Milky Way for the first time on your wedding day? There’s a lot that goes into capturing the night sky — from choosing the right date and location to paying attention to moon phases and conditions. It’s something I specialize in, so if this is part of your vision, we can make it happen in a way that feels just as incredible as it looks.
All the Types of Photos
The wide, cinematic landscapes are part of the story, but so are the hand-squeezing, the deep breaths, the forehead touches, the “we’re really freaking doing this” looks. My galleries give you a mix of everything: epic backdrops, intimate close-ups, and traditional portraits.
48 Hour Sneak Peeks
I know how excited you’ll be to see your photos, and I’ll be just as excited to start editing them. Within a day or two, you’ll receive 10–30 sneak peek photos so you can relive your day and share the news with your people.
Artfully Edited High Resolution Photos
I personally edit every image myself with a focus on true-to-life color, and a timeless finish that won’t feel dated over time. You’ll receive a thoughtful mix of color and black-and-white, with creative edits that elevate the moments without ever taking away from them so every photo feels like a piece of art.
Quick Gallery Delivery
You won’t be left waiting months to see your photos. I deliver your full gallery while you’re still riding the high from your day. You’ll receive your full gallery no later than 8 weeks (and often sooner).
Easy Print Ordering + Complimentary Album Design
You’ll be able to easily order high-quality prints directly through your private online gallery. You’ll also receive a complimentary album design, giving you the option to turn your photos into a handcrafted, heirloom-quality album – something that becomes even more meaningful with time.

I Love What I Do, And So Do They:

“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! My husband and I always knew a traditional wedding wasn’t for us. We wanted something laid-back, personal, and out in nature with our dog by our side. Kelly understood that immediately and made our vision feel completely natural and totally us.
Kelly was warm, friendly, and instantly matched our easygoing vibe. We reached out and said we were hoping to elope when the aspens were yellow, and she found us multiple location options that would work with the timing. Three weeks later we were there!
From helping us find the perfect photo spots to guiding us through woods, mountainsides, and tall grasses, Kelly made every moment feel effortless. Her eye for scenery is incredible; she captured views and emotions we didn’t even realize were happening in the moment.
And we have to give her extra credit for being so great with our dog! She included him in everything, and we ended up with some truly amazing photos of him that we’ll cherish forever.
If you’re looking for an adventure elopement photographer who just gets it – someone who’s talented, down-to-earth, and genuinely invested in creating an unforgettable experience – Kelly is the one. We’re so grateful we found her.”
Amy & Jon
“We are so grateful we found Kelly for our elopement! From the very first time we met her, we knew she was wonderful. She instantly made us feel comfortable, and throughout the whole experience it honestly felt like having a friend along on our adventure.
We planned our elopement in just two months, and Kelly was incredible at accommodating our short timeline and making everything feel effortless. We wanted our day to be easy, fun, and stress-free — truly about us and our relationship rather than planning or logistics. Kelly helped us make that vision a reality. She went above and beyond in helping us plan, offering amazing location suggestions and sending us detailed plans with example photos that got us so excited.
On the day itself, she blended right in, guided us through poses so naturally, and made everything feel fun and relaxed. It never felt awkward or staged, and I never once worried about how I looked — we just got to enjoy being present together. The location she helped us choose was absolutely breathtaking, and the photos captured it perfectly.
When we got our sneak peek back, we were blown away by how many incredible shots there were — some feel like works of art we’re excited to hang in our home, not just wedding photos. We’re also so happy to have GIFs, which bring the day to life in such a special way.
If you’re considering booking Kelly, don’t hesitate. She’s talented, kind, and makes the whole experience unforgettable.”
Carly & Bret
“If you are on the fence – take this as your sign to book Kelly!! Going into the process we had a few ‘must-haves’ for our elopement photographer, especially as an out-of-state couple: 1. That they were a Colorado local, 2. That their editing style fit what we were looking for and 3. They knew how to properly capture star photos – enter Kelly. From the first conversation where she took the time to talk us through where the moon would be the night of our elopement we knew we were making the right choice!
Between the in-depth questionnaire’s to help us figure out what our ‘perfect day’ looked like and the different locations we landed on that she had personally scouted out we felt beyond comfortable with our decision leading into our day and only needed to focus on the little things, like local vendors, which she provided!
The day of our elopement was an absolute dream! Kelly made us feel so relaxed and comfortable and it felt more like we were hanging out with an old friend. Between the hike up, her location guidance for where we should do certain things (i.e. basecamp, first-look and ceremony) and her exceptional dedication to capturing our day really helped to make it beyond perfect! We are already SO in love with our elopement photos we received.
Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding dreams come true, Kelly!”

FAQ’s
Permits depend on where you decide to get married. Some locations require them, some don’t. When you book one of my elopement packages, I handle all the permit research & filing so you don’t have to.
I specialize in finding public land spaces for ceremonies of up to 8 people. Any more than that, you’ll likely have to rent a space for a small wedding. I don’t provide any venue planning or rented space coordination.
My 4 hour photography package is perfect when you want to get married, have amazing photos, but then have the rest of the day to yourselves. When you want to include documentation like getting ready and details, go to multiple locations, have time to do more exploring, and want to include star photos, that will increase your coverage. Most of my couples book me for 8 hours.
It’s simple! I just need your wedding date, where you want to get married, a signed contract, and a 50% retainer. Then I go into full on planning mode!
Every elopement day is different! But, in general, expect 40-50 images per hour booked.
This is your day. Your story. Your chance to do something that feels completely right for you.
