Meet your elopement photographer, and planning expert

Hi, I’m Kelly, and I work with couples who want something different than a traditional wedding day, an elopement outside in beautiful Colorado or Moab. I help you bring it all together, guide you through the process, and photograph it in a way that feels honest and true to you.

120+ elopements later, I still get genuinely excited to scout locations, map out a timeline, capture and edit your photos, and yes, even help you sort out the legal stuff like permits and getting officially married.

Everything I’ve learned along the way lives here on the blog. Ideas, inspiration, and location guides you can browse whenever you want. And if you’d rather skip the reading, that’s okay too. Reach out, tell me what you’re dreaming up, and I’ll walk you through the rest.

A moment for mobile! 🤳🏻 I love showcasing what th A moment for mobile! 🤳🏻

I love showcasing what the websites I develop look like on desktop, but it’s just as important to show you what they look like on mobile too.

Because with mobile accounting for over 51% of global website traffic in Q2 of 2026, websites need to look just as good on mobile as they do on desktop.

Making a website mobile-friendly involves more than just reducing the size of the text and stacking everything on top of each other. Yet that’s how so many website builder platforms and page builder plugins handle mobile styling.

With a custom WordPress website we can really tailor how the website looks on all device sizes and ensure that browsing the website on mobile feels just as smooth as it does on desktop.

Here’s what the website I developed for Davin Tech Group looks like on both desktop and mobile.

The question I probably get asked more than any ot The question I probably get asked more than any other question by web designers, web developer and business owners is “What is your favourite WordPress theme?”.

The answer? I don’t have a favourite one!

Every WordPress website I build get its own custom theme that I have built from the ground up.

Yes, there are tens of thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of pre-made WordPress themes available for you to use, including both free and paid themes.

But, you don’t have to start with a theme that already exists, that someone else has already created. You can create your own theme from scratch. And I truly believe this is the best solution.

I think some people are surprised to hear this. The usual assumption is that it’s a lot of work and effort to create a custom theme from scratch. But it isn’t. And it’s worth it.

When you’re building a custom website for a specific business, it’s very hard to find a single theme that has all the features and functionality you are looking for. When you use a pre-made theme, you end up with a load of stuff that the website actually need.

Instead, the themes I build only have the features and functionality they actually require, which cuts down on the amount of code required, and less code means better performance!

For me, the best WordPress theme is the one we create bespoke for your specific website project!

I recently collaborated with @maddyrussell_design I recently collaborated with @maddyrussell_design on some major website for @pilates_east; a Pilates studio based in Norfolk, UK, offering mat and equipment Reformer classes.

I originally worked with Maddy back in 2021 to create a new WordPress website for Pilates East, and after 5 years it was time to refresh their branding.

Instead of creating a brand new website from scratch, we decided to update the branding on their existing website, add a couple of new pages, and make a few updates to site-wide elements like the header and footer.

Because having a rebrand doesn’t necessarily mean you need a whole new website. Especially not if the website is built well from the very beginning and it’s built to stand the test of time.

I’m currently booking WordPress Website Development projects for September 2026 and beyond. So if you are a web designer who is looking to hand over the development of your next WordPress website, I’m ready to help you bring it to life. 💫

Why do I do what I do in business? Because I want Why do I do what I do in business?

Because I want to help web designers spend more time doing what they love; designing and being creative!

I want to lift design limitations and alleviate the stress of building custom websites, and help you to fall in love with your job all over again.

But also, on a more selfish note, I run this business for me too!

Of course, getting to do something that was once my hobby and being paid for is incredible. But running my business gives me a life that I could only have dreamed of.

It's not just about the money; although that definitely helps me fund my travel adventures and my stationery obsession!

My business allows me to work with my brain and body, and not against it it. It allows me to work the hours I want to work, rest when I feel tired, and take time off without getting approval. And perhaps most importantly, it allows me to prepare for an uncertain future, particularly when it comes to my health.
